Windows 10: Tabtip on screen keyboard opens on second monitor, and not primary, touch screen monitor,...

Is there any way at all to force TabTip to only open on my touch screen? This is driving me crazy. Not really a point to use an external monitor with the touch screen keyboard of tabtip is going to focus in the wrong monitor.I want to use the second monitor to talk in discord, and the first one to show my work space of what im focusing on, but I need the first monitor to show tabtip so I can type.

Upon researching, I see that this could be done by altering the primary monitors and configuring the touch setup. I would suggest you to have a look in the Control Panel and see if you find an option.

• Open Control Panel and navigate to
  Display > Resolution.
  
• Set the touch monitor as the primary one and open
  Tablet PC settings.
  
• Choose Setup and configure your pen and touch displays.
  
• Choose Enter to skip touch to indicate which screen is your touch screen.
  
• Open Screen Resolution settings again and change the primary display.

On screen keyboard on dual monitors

Thanks for reply, I extend my monitor. But I'm not able to put it on the primary monitor which is the touch screen. The keyboard pops in the extended monitor that does not have the touch screen. I am not able to find a setting that would disable the keyboard
on non touch screen monitors.

 

Touch Screen as Second Monitor - Apps launching on main monitor

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with using a touch screen as a second monitor.

I have managed to get it to use the touch functionality, so I can press on the touch screen and it will launch Edge, for example. However, my next problem is that it is launching the applications on my main monitor.

Is there some setting I need to change so that it launches on the second monitor.

For some more detail, we are trying to set up Promethean V5 smart panels for a classroom setup. There will be the V5 board connected to a PC and the PC will also have a monitor. The PC monitor has to stay as the main monitor and the setup will be extended (this is not an issue when setting up as a duplicate screen, for obvious reasons).

If anyone has any useful tips or suggestions on things to try I would really appreciate them.
