Windows 10: TAEF Version Mismatch

Dear MSFT team,I am trying to setup a TAEF test environment in a Windows desktop machine. However when I run a test I see below error. C:\Program Files\Windows Kits\10\Testing\Runtimes\TAEF>TE.exe Tests/Test1.dll Test Authoring and Execution Framework v10.43k for x64 Error: TAEF: [HRESULT 0x8007065E] Failed to load 'C:\Program Files\Windows Kits\10\Testing\Runtimes\TAEF\Tests\Test1.dll'. This version of the TAEF ABI version 8 is not compatible with this test ABI version 10. Please rebuild your tests with the headers for this version of TAEF. Error: TAEF: No test cases were executed.I

My User Folders are mismatched in Library

Lets try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you do a system maintenance troubleshooter
and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X keys and Go to control panel.
• Select system and maintenance.
• There select troubleshooting.
• In troubleshooting, go to system and security and select
  run maintenance task.
• Select system maintenance and follow the
  on screen instructions.

Step 2: I also suggest you to
try creating a new user account and check if issue persists.

Yeah just caught it there.

I'm going to attempt to have a step by step guide on how to use these programs efficiently.

 

What kind of quad.

I suspect you are at "the edge" of the power rating for the mainboard. Perhaps Q6600 wasnt listed due to TWO versions, C3 stepping at 105W and G0 stepping at 95W. Furthermore, if you OC the G0 Q6600 then it will use more than 95W. Since Q9300 is on a 1333 buss, then perhaps the BIOS doesnt give you scope to OC it, keeping it well withing the 95W envelope.

My suggestion is, if the mainboard is important to you and you dont want to blow the power regulators or caps, to NOT OC the Q6600. Take the thing out of design spec (by OC'ing it) and you may very well rapidly reduce the half-life of your board.

Also, as erocker suggests, there are 65W quads out now. I think those are better suited to this mainboard.
