Take a screenshort without saving it in the computer

I previously used Windows 10 and utilized the shortcuts Ctrl + Alt + A or Ctrl + Shift + A to capture a screenshot or a portion of the screen. This would prompt an option to copy it, allowing me to paste it elsewhere. However, these shortcuts no longer seem to function. Could anyone explain what occurred with this feature? I just don't want to save the pictures in my computer***Move from Surface / Surface Pro / Surface Pro 9 / Power and battery***

    :)
