    Taking longer than usual but should be ready soon message


    Hi there

    Updating one PC to RTM - I've got the message !Taking longer than usual but it should be ready soon" Don't turn off PC.

    It's been in that state for around 35 mins with screen going from light to dark blue and back again and the HDD light solid on (SSD !!!).

    However it DOES finish eventually so however tempted you are to re-boot LEAVE the machine on.

    Other machines updated very quickly !!!

    The Windows 10 upgrade appears to hang

    What should I do if my Windows 10 upgrade stops making progress at a specific percentage, either at a black screen with a blue circle or in Windows Update, or at the message, “It's taking
    a bit longer than usual to set up your device, but it should be ready soon”?

    Windows 10 It's taking longer than usual, but it should be ready screen?

    Upgraded my Hp laptop to Windows 10 and the screen got stuck the title above and then said let get started then the screen goes black with the cursor still visible then nothing happens, no home screen just black screen with cursor issues.
