Windows 10: Taking longer to find internet after startup v2004

Discus and support Taking longer to find internet after startup v2004 in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; Anyone else experiencing the OS taking longer to find an internet connection after a cold boot or reboot?     Taking longer to find internet after startup v2004


    Anyone else experiencing the OS taking longer to find an internet connection after a cold boot or reboot?

    This did not happen before I updated to 2004 last month, but it'll show the no internet icon during the sign in screen, usually takes it about 15-20 seconds or longer to find it. If I sign in immediately when at the login screen, still takes 15-20 seconds at desktop. Wired ethernet connection.

    In 1903 and earlier, it'd find the internet connection immediately when hitting the login screen, I never had to wait.

    Win 10 v2004 won't start Outlook or Chrome on startup

    In the previous version, my Outlook 365 and Google Chrome would startup whenever I rebooted. Since I installed v2004, neither app will automatically startup. I checked Settings > Apps > Startup, and Outlook is not listed but Google is listed and the switch
    is ON. I also checked Task Manager > Startup tab and neither app is shown. Anyone have an idea what my problem is?

    New strange item in startup: KernelFaultCheck???

    search for it on teh internet .something like "kernelfaultcheck startup".there are web sites taht just list startup items
