I am dual booting with Win7. I have not used 7 in a few months. I want to know if there is a way to delete and merge the partition that Win7 is on. Also I want to know how to get rid of the dual boot screen and just go with the reg Win10 boot screen.

    :)

Windows 10 Update Error 0x800703ed - Dual Boot with Linux

I have 3 laptops with windows 10 and dual-boot suse linux. The ones with i7 6700 and i75500 chips updated without any problem, but the old one, with a T6570 chip required me to take down the dual boot. It now seems to be updating correctly. I will have to
    replace the linux dual-boot system

Well, the creator's update came out. Had the screensaver problem with photo gallery, fixed it. But I have a dual boot machine with Win10 home and Debian 8 as my media server, and the update wiped the dual boot out. So if you have a dual boot machine,
    be prepared.

Boot up Windows 10 then run: Win+R->msconfig->Boot tab and delete the entry for Windows 7.
Post a screen shot of Disk Management then we can show you how to merge.

As I was suspecting... Windows 7 partition is first. You can right-click on it and delete it. Then right-click on the Windows 10 partition and select expand. Hopefully Disk Management will give you the option to expand the Windows 10 partition to take all space. If it cannot because it is at the end of the disk, you will have to use a third party utility for that, such as MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition. Because the Windows 10 partition is at the end of the disk, expanding it involves copying all data to the start of the disk and as you can imagine this will take a LONG time to complete and meanwhile it is better not use the computer. So select a convenient time to do so, like the weekend. The best is to start it at the night when you would be sleeping anyway and you won't need the computer.

Thank you very much for the help. I did this this morning. Disc Management would not let me extend so I used the tool you linked and worked perfect. In fact, it only took about 10 mins and it was done.
