Windows 10: Tall and Skinny Screen in Windows 10

I used a different resolution than 1920x1080 and then after I was done with it, the screen became all tall and skinny once I switched back to the resolution. I have all my graphics drivers up to date: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and Intel UHD Graphics 630. I am trying to get it to look normal again. It looks the same on 100% and 125% display scaling. Help me if you can.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

I suggest you to follow the methods below and check if this helps:

Method1: Try to uninstall and re-install the graphics Card drivers.

You may follow these steps to uninstall and reinstall the graphics Card drivers:

• Press “Windows Logo” + “R” keys on the keyboard and type “devmgmt.msc” in the “Run” Command box and press “Enter”.
• In the “Device Manager” window, search for the graphics Card drivers, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device”
  you may select that and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and the restart the computer if prompted.

Method 2: You can try installing the drivers in compatibility mode and check if this helps:

• Press the ‘Windows key on the keyboard.
• Type compatibility in the search box and then press
  enter.
• Click “Run programs made for previous versions of Windows” option from the list appeared in the left side.
• Select the drivers and install.
