    TargetReleaseversionInfo to block Windows 11

I've read how you can block the Windows 11 upgrade by setting the TargetReleaseversionInfo registry key to the version of Windows 10 you want to limit updates to. If the Win10 machine is currently running 21H2, do you have to put 21H2 in that key, or could you set it to 22H2 so in the future the Win10 machine will upgrade to 22H2 when it's available for that hardware?

    :)

how to upgrade to windows11 after blocking it

    hi,

I blocked my windows 10 upgrades to go 11 ,using this method:

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To Block Windows 11 update, see the steps below, which is explained later on step by step. This would also work even if you have clicked Download and install.

    • Right-click Start and select Windows Powershell(admin).
    • Press Yes when Prompted.
    • Type cmd.exe to open Command Prompt inside Powershell.
Paste the following command to enable Targeted Updates to a specific release:

    • reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate /v TargetReleaseversion /t REG_DWORD /d 1
If you are on Windows 10 version 21H2, use the command below:

    • reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate /v TargetReleaseversionInfo /t REG_SZ /d 21H2
If you are on Windows 10 version 21H1, use the command below:

    • reg add HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate /v TargetReleaseversionInfo /t REG_SZ /d 21H1

      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
now i regret and i want to upgrade to 11. anyone knows how should do it?
