Windows 10: Task bar appearing in the middle of some games, but not others

When I play games such as valorent and Bloody hunt, the task bar at the bottom appears when I look down in the games. This happens regardless of resolution, fullscreen, boarderless etc. This doesn't happen on all games such as warzone, but only these 2 so far. I've tried hiding the task bar, and that does not work. I have a theory its somthing to do with the mouse in game also being in the background, thats why when I look down in game it goes down to the taks bar in windows. Desperate need for help. Only way to play games atm is through windowed mode.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

how to successfully pin files to the task bar

I use to be able to drag and drop files onto the task bar and they would reside withing the file list for that program. Since the recent upgrade it appears that I am not able to pin a file to the program on the task bar. Suggestions?
