Windows 10: Task Bar apps disappearing and crashing

I tried to use my computer and I noticed that a few apps were not showing up on the taskbar. If I hovered over the app the name would show up but the app would be invisible. When I clicked on one of the apps it would start to load up but then crash. I tried going to start to load up just any of the apps but when I clicked on the app it would also just crash. I tried to restart my computer but that did not work. I even waited a whole day and it still would not fix itself. Does anyone have any tips on why this is happening? If so how do I fix it?

'Mail' app has disappeared apps. Start menu and task bar

My mail app has disappeared from my app list since the recent update. How can I add 'Mail. to my start menu and task bar?

 

Cannot modify Task Bar settings

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

Missing Photos app on Task Bar

The icon on the Task Bar has disappeared. The space where the Icon was is still there and if I click on it the Photos app works. I can see my photos, edit them and use them. If I go to the app's list I can see the Photo app. If I click to add the app
to the Task Bar I get the message to "Un pin from Start". I noticed when the Photo app is open the bar at the top of the screen has change color from the blue I am use to seeing to a pale Orange color.
