Windows 10: Task bar does not completely hide itself

I use auto hide on desktop mode, which worked fine until I update windows/nvidia graphics driver. Now there is a small bar where some of the task bar can be seen. I've restarted my computer several times, tried turning it off/on, and restarted windows explorer, but none of these options seemed to work. The bar can be seen at the bottom slight pink bar.

Unable to hide Task bar

a. Right click on the Task bar.

b. Click on Properties.

c. Put a check mark next to ‘Auto-hide’ the task bar.

d. Click on Apply and OK.

If the issue persists try the below steps to restart the Windows Explorer and check if that helps.

Step 1: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys to open Task Manager

Step 2: Click on
More details.

Step 3: Under the Processes tab, right-click on Windows Explorer entry and then click Restart.

Task Bar will not completely hide

I cannot seem to get the taskbar to completely hide. The very top of it will not go away. I have tried the following:

* Moving the task bar to another location (left, right, etc.)

* Checking to see if an app needed my attention - doing what the app wanted then restarting

* Restarting Windows Explorer in the Task Manager

*Changing almost every setting in the task bar control panel

*Updating the graphics card driver

I don't know what changed, but this is a pretty new laptop and my first gaming PC. This issue is really annoying since I feel that I spent enough money for this computer, it should not have issues like this that are not easily fixed.

I really hope someone can help me fix this. Thank you in advance!
