Windows 10: Task bar goes blank, icons disappear, and then desktop icons come back.

After the February 2022 Windows 11 update the one that added the clock/date on the second monitor and updated note pad, I gotten times where my taskbar goes blank and the icons disappear for a few seconds. Then 5 to 20 seconds later, the icons come back and then bounce as they appear. I think the new Widgets set up has something to do with this. Right after the icons disappear, the Widget Icon is no longer the current weather, but is changed to the original WIndows 11 Widget Icon.Apparently there was no fix for this in the March 2022 monthly Windows 11 updates because it's still doing it aft

task bar icons blank

After applying the november windows 10 home update three of my task bar icons have become blank sheets. The ones changed are edge, store and wunderlist. The remainder are fine. The icons of the three appear correct in the all apps list. I have tried
unpin and re-pin with no change. The three applications work correctly and start fine from the task bar. It is just hard to remember which application is which blank. Note this has happened on my hp laptop which was upgraded from windows 8.1, My desktop
which has windows 10 professional does not have the problem. It was upgraded from windows 7 professional.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Desktop Icons Disappear

When I click on a blank area of my desktop, all of my icons disappear. If I click on the task bar, they return but if I try to launch a program, they all disappear and the program doesn't launch.

 

Disappearing/Blank icons on desktop?

About 2 months ago I got a brand new PC and for about the last month and a half the icons on the desktop have been disappearing/turning into the "blank page" icon at random. This has been happening to a lot; from games via the Windows store, Internet shortcuts
to general applications (i.e. Twitter). Sometimes it's on start up or sometimes it just happens during general use. This morning Skype went blank in the task bar and Twitter and a Windows Store game were blank on the desktop. I also started noticing the entire
desktop was sort of 'refreshing' itself and the icons were flickering. The way i'm currently getting around it is placing custom .ico files or removing the shortcut from the desktop and then re-adding it from the start menu.

Any ideas?
