    Task bar Has cemented itself on the screen and I cannot get it disappear.


    my task bar has cemented itself on the screen and does not disappear. I have looked and found the disappear button option it was toggled to the on position. In an attempt to "reset" the setting I turned it to off position and then back to the on position. it is still there. How do I get it off the screen when not in use? It often has done this when some of the updates of windows 10 occur.

    help would be appreciated.

    Address bar (top screen) & task bar (bottom screen) keep disappearing

    Most likely Tablet Mode, as dmholt57 suggests.

    Turn On or Off Tablet Mode in Windows 10

    Another posibility is accidentally pressing F11 which switches a browser to full screen mode.

    I recently upgraded to Windows 10. The task bar on the bottom of the screen suddenly disappeared.

    I recently upgraded to Windows 10. The task bar on the bottom of the screen suddenly disappeared. I have tried re-booting without success. Any suggestions on how to restore it?

    Cannot modify Task Bar settings

    Hi,

    I understand your concern and will be happy to assist you.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

    • Right click on the Task Bar.
    • Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."
