Windows 10: Task Bar Multiplies

I started having this problem when I upgraded my laptop from Windows 10 pro to Windows 11 Pro. When browsing the internet or while using Windows media player the task bar will multiply covering the entire screen. The bottom task bar from the home screen is layered up and down the screen 6 times with black bars in-between them. When I move the mouse back and forth it has a neon effect behind the icons and when I click it disappears. Is this a software issue or a hardware issue?

Cannot modify Task Bar settings

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

how to successfully pin files to the task bar

I use to be able to drag and drop files onto the task bar and they would reside withing the file list for that program. Since the recent upgrade it appears that I am not able to pin a file to the program on the task bar. Suggestions?
