Windows 10: Task bar options does not now provide the ability to expand taskbar into multiple rows

The taskbar in the older version allowed us to expand task bar into multiple rows so that at work when I usually open multiple files and apps at a time, i can switch and access each of them looking at their file names appropriately from the two row task bar that I normally maintain. The windows 11 does not give the option to expand the task bar into additional rows as required After we right click on the task bar and hit "unlock taskbar" ,the older version used to give the expand arrow cursor when toggling on the top line of the taskbar and we could expand the rows by dragging the arrow up, T

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

Allow for 2 rows of icons in taskbar?


Wondering if this feature still exists in Windows10 and how to accomplish it.

Back in Win7, I could unlock the taskbar and make it wider. This allowed me to drop more icons into the taskbar and would allow me to have two rows of icons.

With Win10 I can't seem to figure out how to accomplish this. I follow the same steps, but it centers the icons in the middle of the wider task bar and then will run the icons down so you have to scroll to see the rest of them.

Any way I can set it up to act like it did in Win7?
