    Brand new install.The display appears to be too large for my monitor. For instance, only to top 1/2 of the task bar is visible. Same is true for the left edge and perhaps top and right edge.

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your concern and will be happy to assist you.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

    • Right click on the Task Bar.
    • Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

    Address bar (top screen) & task bar (bottom screen) keep disappearing

    Most likely Tablet Mode, as dmholt57 suggests.

    Turn On or Off Tablet Mode in Windows 10

    Another posibility is accidentally pressing F11 which switches a browser to full screen mode.
