    Task Bar Resets After Every Shut Down


    Picture 1: What I have it set up as and would like to keep it as centered.Picture 2: What it resets to every time I open the computer after shutting down/resetting shifts left and removes the "links tab".I've tried to lock the taskbar using the Registry Editor Picture 3 however the taskbar still resets and I have to go into regedit in order to unlock the taskbar. I also ran a SFC and DISM scan, there aren't any problems there. Any help is appreciated thank you.Laptop: Lenovo Flex 14

    Cannot modify Task Bar settings

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your concern and will be happy to assist you.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

    • Right click on the Task Bar.
    • Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

    Task Bar Resets After Every Shut Down

    Task Bar

    I cannot get my task bar to close when in full screen mode. I have tried going to task manager and resetting windows explorer; I have also unlocked the task bar, tried to drag it down, and re-lock it. Neither has worked for me. Any suggestions?
