Windows 10: Task bar stopped functioning properly.

Auto-hide taskbar not working properly on Windows 11. Despite enabling the setting in Taskbar behaviors, the taskbar does not appear when any app is switched to full screen This worked earlier. Restarting Explorer, toggling the setting, and even resetting related registry keys e.g., StuckRects3 did not resolve the issue.

Cannot modify Task Bar settings

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."

Task bar system features stopped functioning

The search bar, date and every other system feature on the task bar on my Windows 10 computer suddenly stopped working, they no longer respond to clicks. That means I can no longer use functions and apps in the start menu, check calendar etc.. even the
start menu key in the keyboard stopped functioning as well. I tried updating and I got this error code; Update for Microsoft Office 2010 (KB2553347) 32-Bit Edition - Error 0x80070643. Please what can I do?

 

Task Bar stop working properly in one directory only

Task Bar with option “Combine task bar button” set to “Always hide labels” stop working properly only in one directory folder. It stop showing multiple occurrences with peek. When I close current task, it wasn't replace by another occurrence. Task Manager
would show I didn't have anything under “Apps”. When I reboot, Windows told me I still had these apps still running but how could I close them. I had no choice but to chose the restart anyway option which made index file unusable until recreated. Yet Task
Bar was working properly for other directory. Changing the “Combine Task Bar option “ didn't work. Deleting all the files in the directory and replace them with files from a directory that was working properly didn't work. I deleted folder, reboot, recreate
folder with same name and copy files in from a save directory and that was the solution.
