Windows 10: Task bar task order inconsistant

I keep several Icons in a certain order (one Click Programs) on the task bar. One of the Icons when executed replaces the Icon with the running task. Others keep the icon where it is and create a new Icon for the running task at the end of the list. How do I make it so it works like the first one mentioned, keeping the icon and running task in the same position. If the programs icon is already on the task bar why create a new one when it is running? I never run two copies but if I did it should be next to the other one, kind of group together setting like android Google contacts call history group together setting. Windows 10

Throttlestop obsidian not showing readouts in task bar

Hello

I had the previous version of throttlestop installed on a surface pro running windows 10 and it was working beautifully but now I am having trouble getting throttlestop to show temp/cpu reporting in the windows task bar. I have 'Task Bar' checked in the main window but still nothing appears. The check boxes within Options for Notification Area such as CPU Temp and CPU Mhz do not respond when clicked. Am i missing something/is there something else I need to do in order to get throttlestop obsidian to report to the task bar?

Cannot modify Task Bar settings

I understand your concern and will be happy to assist you.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."
