Windows 10: Task host is stopping Windows shutting down

Hi all

Got a message like "Task host is stopping Windows shutting down" on a recent shutdown. Anyone tell me what "Task host" is and whether its staying open at shutdown means anything I should investigate?

There's a lot of possible causes why you are experiencing this issue. For us to further isolate it, please provide the information below:

• Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
• What is the exact version of your computer? To do it, go to Start menu
  and go to Settings > System >
  About, then check the Version.
  

For the meantime, your can do the methods below:

Method 1: Run the Power Troubleshooter.

• Open Control Panel.
• Select View by: Large icons.
• Open Troubleshooting.
• Under System and Security, run the Power troubleshooter.
