Windows 10: task host window is stopping background tasks

This warning has become an issue after two of the last three windows updates stopping restarts and shutdowns.

We have tried the many steps outlined via google search as well as:

Control panel
Administrative Tools
Task Scheduler open
Left side
Select Task schedule library
Select Microsoft
Select Windows
Select RAS and open
If mobility is present delete mobility


Bootup also seems to be slow.

That's really the bottom line, I guess. If these things don't close by themselves after 30 seconds or a minute or so (as they didn't close yesterday), should I click the button to close them? Thanks for your replies!

I understand a brand new laptop.

Windows 10 monthly updates come out the second Tuesday of every month.

After installing a couple of them things might improve.

You should only need to close some items when turning your computer off.

Try not clicking on anything because they will usually close by themselves if you give an extra 30 seconds to one minute.

It might say - need to close this to shut down, ok to close it?

Give it a chance to close by itself.
