Task Manager: Changing update speed does not work.

I want it to be set to pause. But when I click on paused, it seems to pause, but only for about one second and then stays at Normal. Also, changing to the other values does not work, it always stays at normal. This happens when I run it as admin. Running it on the user I am currently logged in works as it should. Also, why is my admin having the Windows 10 version of task manager and my current user I am logged into shows the 11 version?I already restarted the system.Thank you

    :)

Network tab in Task manager is not working

    Hi,

The possible cause could be the Update speed option in Task Manager is Disabled. We suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists:

    1. Open Task Manager.

    2. Under the View option, go to Update Speed.

    3. Ensure that it is not paused. You can set it to Normal.

    4. Restart the computer.

    5. Check if the issue persists.

Let us know how it goes.

  3. Task manager doesn't update resources on real time

    Hi,

It's possible that the Performance window in your Task Manager has been paused. For us to verify this, let's verify if it's really paused or set to a normal speed. Please follow the steps below:

    • Right-click on the task bar and click Task Manager.
    • In the Task Manager window, click the Performance tab.
    • At the top, click View.
    • Navigate to Update speed. If it's paused, then click
Normal. Your Performance tab should now be working.

We're looking forward to your feedback.

    Regards.

Task Manager: Changing update speed does not work.

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.
