    Task Manager Crashes + Pc slowing down due to 7-Zip Standolone Console


    So all the things started liked this, so I had some dll files corruptions so I used a software called Advanced System Repair Pro so few days later my laptop got slow and lagged so I opened Task Manager Then it closed and it doesn't shows Task manager has stopped working or anything....so I kept trying opening it so sometimes it stays open for some seconds few times I say -7-zip standolone console- in the task manager causing the task manager crash. Then I did some researches on what is this and found its a virus typed thing which eats GPU on computers on various purposes like Bitcoi

    7 Zip or WinRAR?

    The only thing that I don't like about 7-Zip is its Windows 95-vintage graphics. Fortunately, there's a solution for that: 7-Zip Theme Manager.

    • Toolbar themes - change the look of the toolbar in 7-Zip.
    • Filetype themes - change the Windows icons for archive files.
    • 90 toolbar themes and 22 filetype themes to choose from.
    • Changing the SFX-icon (self-extracting archive) is now possible.
    Be sure to grab the 2.1.1. Hotfix to mod any version of 7-Zip from 9.23 to the present release (15.12 as of the time of this post).

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    Microsoft Edge / DUI70.DLL causes Task Manager to crash.

    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Open the latest Microsoft Edge.
    2. Open Task Manager with "performance" (or any other than "processes") as default tab.
    3. Wait a few seconds.
    4. Switch to "processes" tab.
    After switched to "processes" tab, there's a small change Task Manager will crash (0xC0000005, faulting module: DUI70.DLL).

    So I decided to use WinDbg and caught the crash into a MiniDump:

    Hope you guys will fix bugs of Task Manager, it's very buggy. I encountered more crashes like 0xc0000409 NTDLL.DLL.
