Windows 10: Task manager disables on boot

Hi guys, I am facing the following problem. On every boot, I get the message of giving permission to the Registry Editor to make changes on my device. On giving the permission, it disables the task manager. If I do not permit, then it goes into safe mode. To enable the Task Manager, I did some research and the solution that worked for me was to go to registry editor and change the value of the key "DisableTaskMgr" to 0. This enables the task manager. But after every boot, I again have to manually change set the value to 0. Any idea on why this is happening and how can I fix this? Thanks.

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

You can disable the startup programs so that it will not start up when you turn the system on.

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

    Press Windows Logo Key+X. Click on Run.

    Type msconfig. Click OK.
    
  • 
    Click on Startup. Click on Open Task Manager.
    
  • 
    Select the program and click on Disable.

Actually, I like your suggestion as a first step.

Unchecking the wrong thing in Autoruns can brick a system.

And clicks on everything. Wonder how long it takes to boot. Pretty soon he's gonna need an extra core just to run Task Manager.
