    Task Manager hiding my programs


    Hey Gang, I've been having a problem when I open certain programs (Adobe Animate). I'll open it and it WILL run, but it won't show up on the taskbar or anywhere else. the only way I can manage to see it is when I go to task manager, end the program and run it again.



    I have an Intel i5 and Intel HD gpu if thats any help, Thank you!

    Unable to hide Task bar

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

    I understand that you are unable to hide Task bar. We will assist you to resolve the issue.

    I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

    a. Right click on the Task bar.

    b. Click on Properties.

    c. Put a check mark next to ‘Auto-hide’ the task bar.

    d. Click on Apply and OK.

    If the issue persists try the below steps to restart the Windows Explorer and check if that helps.

    Step 1: Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys to open Task Manager

    Step 2: Click on
    More details.

    Step 3: Under the Processes tab, right-click on Windows Explorer entry and then click Restart.

    My name is Jocelyn, an independent advisor and a fellow Windows 10 user like you. I'll be glad to help you today.

    To Disable Startup Program:

    In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.

    On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.

    On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.

    Under Startup in Task Manager, look through the list of programs that are enabled to run during startup. Right-click the program and select Disable.

    Exit Task Manager when done.
