Windows 10: task manager is at 99 percent. doesnt' move as if stuck.

Discus and support task manager is at 99 percent. doesnt' move as if stuck. in Windows 10 BSOD Crashes and Debugging to solve the problem; Earlier today when i opened the task manager it was compeltely empty.     task manager is at 99 percent. doesnt' move as if stuck.


    Earlier today when i opened the task manager it was compeltely empty. BLANK. and it said there are no apps running. Now it shows up and is populaged but there are 72 processes and 3 apps . i had chrome closed and was using nohing on the laptop at all. it's as if the tassk manager is frozen... cause usually the numbers fluctuate I know all about closing tasks, etc. Chrome wasn't running.


    What could be keeping the CPU at 99 percent. I'm not doing a thing. And apps are not there.


    in addition all day it said chrome not responding. This may be a separate issue so i almost didn't put this information here.


    what do i do about the task manager. I have looked on line and the solutions seem relatively ccomplicated for me.


    I chose system and performance failures ONLY because i didn't see anythingn more pertinent.

    Windows 10 upgrade stuck at 99 percent

    3 of my laptops have been stuck at 99 percent for more than 8 hours. What can I do to get Windows 10 upgrade to finish installing?
