Windows 10: Task manager is randomly closing after 1 - 2 minutes and computer lagging afterwards and...

when I close task manager, my pc lags entirely, when I open it, it closes after a few minutes, this has been happening for 4 months now, I downloaded something from a very trusty site, it cant be a virus, is there any way to fix it? windows update page wont open aswell so I cant check if its an update problem

Every task I end remains in the task manager for over 10 minutes?

Well lads.

The last couple of days I am having a strange issue with closing programs down,
I only notice it with games.
When ever I exit a game, it remains in the task manager for over 10 minutes and it cannot be ended in anyway. The only way to sort it out is to just wait around or restart the computer.

I believe this has only just started to happen 2 days ago when I got my new GPU " ASUS Geforce GTX 560 Ti Direct CUII 900Mhz TOP "

The software that was installed could have caused it??

Task Switcher randomly gets stuck cycling windows


Good morning!

I am having an issue with the Task Switcher (see image below) activating on its own. It then begins to cycle through the open tasks very rapidly. When this happens I am unable to actually select any of the tasks, nor can I close them out. Windows is essentially frozen at this point and I have to restart.

A few things to note:

• I am running Windows 10 Pro.
• This happens randomly, sometimes weeks between an incident.
• Sometimes it happens while I am not even working at the computer. I've noticed it after returning to my desk.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

 

Managing 4 Single-Task Computers

*sigh* Let me simplify things.



I'm in charge of managing 4 computers. These computers only need to run a few specific tasks.

Problem #1: Is there a fast way to make a change to all the computers? Because right now, if I have to update something, I have to do it 4 times.

Problem #2: Is there a way to lock Windows (XP) down so the only thing the user will be able to do is the few specific tasks? I think Group Policy may be helpful here...?
