Windows 10: Task manager Not polling stats

    Task manager Not polling stats


    i noticed a while ago that Task Manager does not poll stats, and instead, just freezes with the information, so i have to close it and reopen it to refresh the stats. this is very annoying as i wish to monitor the status of my system in real time, without having to use resource manager. Is there a way to change this?

    Task Manager glitched, won't update stats.

    Task manager seems to be glitched. When I open it, it updates the stats it displays to the exact instant I open task manager, but stops updating after that, like it's frozen. How should I fix this?

    Windows 10 - cannot add exec to Startup in Task Manager

    I purchased a new computer with Windows 10 already installed. I am trying to add an exec to the startup list but Win10 will not accept it. The exec runs successfully on my Windows 10 machine if I start it manually.

    Steps I've taken: Task Manager, Startup Tab, File>Run New Task. (browse to location, select.) It will start immediately, but does not show up on the list to autostart, nor does it start on reboot.

    Any suggestions?

    No need. If you have (or can download) the ISO for your 1809 you can extract it yourself from the install.esd in the Sources folder. Just mount the ISO and open install.esd with 7-Zip File Manager.
