Windows 10: Task Manager not updating.

I was watching my task manager whilst my computer was doing some maintenance. I came back and tried to awaken it by pressing the escape key, But might have missed it and pressed others. The Task Manager disappeared from my screen. When I got it back by opening it again, the display was no longer updating.I can still use the actual computer.In the event viewer, I can see Device Setup Manager errors. Looking in the admin part I can see several errors as below:Not sure if this is a red herring though. Any help would be appreciated.apologies if I got the topic wrong.Added - Apologies. I should m

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1:

  Press Crtl + alt + Delete key on your keyboard to open task manager.
  
• 
  Cancel the Windows Update task form the task manager.

  Run Windows Update Troubleshooter. Click this
