Task manager percentage and value is different.

My task manager is saying that 20% of my RAM is currently being used by Chrome. But when I change the manager visual for memory to value. It only shows around 750 MB. this isn't only chrome, it's all apps. I have 8 GB of RAM, and I'm pretty sure 750 MB is NOT 20% of 8 GB. Anybody know why the two are so different?

    :)

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

  3. Not Showing network values in task manager.

    Hi Jay,

If your network adapter is rated as having a very fast maximal bandwidth such a 1 Gbps, Windows might ignore 1 Mbps as being too small a percentage to show. We suggest that you use the Resource Monitor or a Task Manager replacement.

    Regards.

  4. Memory Value vs Percentage

Memory Value vs Percentage: In Task Manager, it appears that I am using 1.5 gigabytes of RAM. My computer has 8 gigabytes of RAM, and I'm pretty sure 1.5 GB of RAM isn't 84% of 8 GB. Anybody know why this is or if some hidden programs are using a whole bunch of RAM? Thank you in advance!...
