Windows 10: Task Manager randomly closing/Fan ramp up

I'm having trouble with Task Manager on Windows 10 Home Up to date
It randomly closes itself if I leave it in the background Still and open window/minimised

Normally this wouldn't bother me but for some reason when it closes my Fans start ramping up for no reason I've checked and my CPU doesn't go over 65C and is normally in the 50-60C range but when I open Task Manager again the fans go back to normal, but then 30 minutes later Task Manager closes itself again which its never done before if I remember correctly.

Any tips to force Task Manager to stay open/How to fix it
or ways to stop my fans from ramping up

PC fan randomly ramps up while idle

The other day I spilled some water near my setup's power strip. I quickly turned it off, but after some inspection I found that no water ended up getting into any electronics. I turned it back on and everything seemed to work just fine, but I noticed that
when I'm not using my computer but it's still turned on (fully turned on, not in sleep/hibernate), the CPU fan will ramp up for a few seconds and then ramp back down. This also happens when the screen is black and I make a mouse movement, waking it up. Any
help would be appreciated!

Specs:

Windows 10 64-bit

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 CPU

16GB RAM

One of the possible causes why you can't open the Task Manager is due to some task which is running in background. Having said
that, we suggest performing the suggestions posted by Singh Sarandeep in this
thread. Quite a few people found his suggestions helpful.

Note that the information in the thread applies to Windows 8.1, but still applicable to Windows 10.

 

Task Switcher randomly gets stuck cycling windows


Good morning!

I am having an issue with the Task Switcher (see image below) activating on its own. It then begins to cycle through the open tasks very rapidly. When this happens I am unable to actually select any of the tasks, nor can I close them out. Windows is essentially frozen at this point and I have to restart.

A few things to note:

• I am running Windows 10 Pro.
• This happens randomly, sometimes weeks between an incident.
• Sometimes it happens while I am not even working at the computer. I've noticed it after returning to my desk.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
