Windows 10: Task Manager Should Default to -Always on Top-

So my thread from 2 years ago is locked. I have to create a new thread. Wouldn't want everyone to see the continued stupidity.Once again an update has reset Task Manager to NOT 'Always on Top'. Of course the way you find out is when a full screen program bugs and you can't see the TM because it's IN THE BACKGROUND AGAIN.I can't help but wonder how stupid someone has to be to not get this.Let me spell it out. If I want it in the BACKGROUND and it defaults to 'Always on Top' then when an event requires I use it I simply go into TM Settings and de-select 'Always on Top'. A pretty simple solution.

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.

 

Task Manager Should Default to -Always on Top-

Updated to Windows 11 and the task manager is set back to -Always on Top- off. Why in all that is holy is -Always on Top- not the installation default?

Of course I didn't realize this until I actually needed it and couldn't access it because a full screen program was in the stinking way.

What the heck MS? Is this really so difficult to understand? When the average user needs the task manager it's typically because a program has bugged. At that time we need to actually access the task manager.

Can someone please explain to me the reasoning behind the Task Manager -Always on Top- mode not being the installation default?

Maybe if I knew there was a good logical reason it wouldn't be so dang irritating.
