Task Manager Shows Unused Device Using Memory

I have a Microsoft Display Adapter connected to my Blu-ray player. When I open my Windows 10 task manager, it is shown as being an app in use even though I am not connected to it at the time. Nor is the Blu-ray player on, but it still shows memory being used by the adaptor. I can shut it down in the task manager, but I want to know what's happening here. Is some kind of data being surreptitiously sent to Microsoft, or is someone trying to hack me? I should add that the device is password protected.

    :)

Task manager not showing complete memory usage?

This has a couple of angles on this topic:
All Physical memory being used but nothing showing in task manager - Microsoft Community

Note the comment about data loaded into RAM- not necessarily exe's or dlls.

The top file is an O&O disk image file I've just created and written to an external USB.
The second is part of creating OO DiskImage's bootable CD

Cortana disabled-still showing 38mb in Memory of Task Manager?

The title really says it all. I only have 2Gb of memory on my pc stick & I just rec'c a warning about my memory being stretched, so I disabled Cortana, (which I don't use anyway), but in the Memory column of the Task Manager it's still showing that 38Mb is being used. Why? Appreciate any suggestion guys!! Thanks.

Task Manager Shows Unused Device Using Memory

Task Manager - Memory Compression Process?

    Hello,

In my main system I have a process going that I don't understand. I have 2 computers sitting side by side and when I located this anomaly in my main system, I checked my 2nd system and it showed a different set of information.
I will post the screen snaps here below of each.

This first one is from my main computer I use continuously.
This image shows what seems to be nothing going on with the Memory Compression and I wonder why it is even in the task listings.

This second one is my Security Surveillance system running 24/7
It definitely shows a different set of memory numbers on this image of the Memory Compression. Much more then the above image.

Do I need this listing in my system. In the main system task it looks like it is doing nothing, yet in my security system computer, it has much more information given. What does this task do for the computer?

    Thanks for your time
