Task Manager uses too much network speed

    Hi there,

I'm having problems with downloading particular stuffs like games and applications. The problem is, whenever I download a file, it says that it is using more than 4- 10mbps of speed when it only downloads from the browser a speed of 900kbps to 1.6mbps. I'm careful about what I do on the Internet since I'm using a metered connection, a data plan. It's like this for every app I use, no problem on the surfing the web or anything. It just uses too much speed.

    :)

Network tab in Task manager is not working

    Hi,

The possible cause could be the Update speed option in Task Manager is Disabled. We suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists:

    1. Open Task Manager.

    2. Under the View option, go to Update Speed.

    3. Ensure that it is not paused. You can set it to Normal.

    4. Restart the computer.

    5. Check if the issue persists.

Let us know how it goes.

Checking Wireless Network Speed- Herculian Task!

Gone are the days when we could simply right click a connected wifi network and check the 'SPEED' of the network in mbps. For eg:-

Task Manager uses too much network speed [IMG]

...or simply goto Task manager and check the speed like:-

'Smart', 'Flawless' Windows 10 has moved a step ahead to make our lives simpler. To achieve the objective it has simply done away with the option of checking the network speed! One needs to be an Israeli hacker to check your network speed. Well am not that.

Is there a simple method to check network speed which i am missing? guys? pls help!

    Regards

network speed not shown in task manager

using windows 10 pro with version 10.0.15063 build 15063. i am facing a problem where i am unable to see the exact network speed taking by certain apps. for example downloding a movie via utorrent at the speed of 1MB/s is shown 0 in task manager section.

Rebooted many times still problem exists ....guessing the problem arises from the fresh installation of windows 10 from the beigining. hope for ur kind advice .
