  1. Task Manager

Many of my "features" & "services" are suspended, giving up systems resources for system interrupts, various push notifications, and service host processes. I know all of these are normal but they're so many background actions going at once its causing system to halt graphics capabilities. There is also a virtual process that appears that slows the system WAY down, video capabilities not working and certainly not gaming. This isn't hardware but from system using virtual environment combined with not having high speed internet. Which is only available through satellite connection where I am, and very expensive.

    The question is-

how do I stop these things from happening?

Also more importantly, why are they happening?

As I said before, I know some are standard functions but not when to extent of suspending MS Edge etc. to be performed. By the way, TIA.....

    :)

Windows 10 - cannot add exec to Startup in Task Manager

I purchased a new computer with Windows 10 already installed. I am trying to add an exec to the startup list but Win10 will not accept it. The exec runs successfully on my Windows 10 machine if I start it manually.

Steps I've taken: Task Manager, Startup Tab, File>Run New Task. (browse to location, select.) It will start immediately, but does not show up on the list to autostart, nor does it start on reboot.

    Any suggestions?

  4. Task Manager

Task Bar, Task manager and apps, all not responding, Windows 10

step 1 worked a dream. Had earlier tried everything suggested in these forums. nothing had worked to solve the problem. The media creation tool as suggested in step 1 did the trick. - it took several hours, but worth it.

ps. original complaint - non responding - and task manager - blank or useless.
