Windows 10: Task Manager's Tiny Footprint mode is broken

Discus and support Task Manager's Tiny Footprint mode is broken in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; How do I get Task Manager out of this mode?     Task Manager's Tiny Footprint mode is broken


    How do I get Task Manager out of this mode? It looks like a really bad useless version of Tiny Footprint mode, except double clicking on an empty space does absolutely nothing. Fingers crossed a system restart fixes it. Any ideas on how to avoid this? It's the most useless version of Task Manager and I have no idea how I did this. What your seeing is my entire Task Manager window right now, double clicking on individual tabs as well as the title bar and the empty spaces in between all do NOTHING. Please haaalp!

    Hi,

    It sounds like your Task Manager has gone into "Small Footprint Mode"

    Double-click just inside/on the Task Manager Border to bring it back to "Normal Mode".

    Same for Vista and Windows 7.

    "How to Switch Between Normal and Small Footprint Mode in Vista and Windows 7 Task Manager"

    Task Manager - Small Footprint Mode

    Double click on a border of Task Manager to switch between modes.​

    Task Manager's Tiny Footprint mode is broken

    Task Manager not showing any processes after Fall Creator's Update

    Hello,

    This behavior can occur if Task Manager is running in Tiny Footprint mode.
    When you double-click the empty space in the border around the tabs, Task Manager switches to this mode. You can still go back to its normal display mode by performing the steps in this article:

    Task Manager Menu Bar and Tabs Are Not Visible    .

    In case that didn't help, we suggest performing again the SFC scan and DISM to see if it does the same. You can visit this
    thread to know more information about it.
