  1. Task Scheduler: c:\Windows\System32\Tasks\ there is no here my folder with my task

    Hi, I have a question for you. I hope someone can help me. Thanks in advance I created a folder in the Task Scheduler under the Task Scheduler Library. The name of this folder is "HUN". And I created a task in this folder too.The task is running well. The name of the task is "Sql_copy".I would like to save the task from here --> c:\Windows\System32\Tasks\HUN\Sql_copyI could always find my tasks on this route on my other computers. But it is no available. Windows user: AdministratorThe user has full control in the Security of the c:\Windows\System32\ Tasks folder. Edition: Windows 10 Pro

    :)

    Task Scheduling help/idea,

    Ok, my goal is to use IOGraph to record my mouse moments, What I would like to do, is use a task scheduler to make iograph save the photo ever 30min or so to a folder (in background if possible). Then I want to make a script that will delete jpgs that are older than 4 hours (any amount of time really). I would then set that folder to my desktop background folder.

    Anyone here proficient in using a task scheduler for anything like that? *Toast :toast:

    Tasks still show in Task Scheduler despite being deleted

    The OP has not mentioned deleting any program files.
    The folder identified by the OP contains Task scheduler task definitions and nothing else.

    I am not trying to suggest that the method the OP used is a good one.

  4. Task Scheduler: c:\Windows\System32\Tasks\ there is no here my folder with my task

    Corrupt task scheduler

    The same way as you restore your own tasks:

    1. Copy the underlying .xml file to some holding areaa, e.g.

      c:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Microsoft\Windows\WDI\ResolutionHost -> C:\Tasks
    2. Rename the copied task file by adding an .xml extension.
    3. Open the Task Scheduler and navigate to the relevant subfolder.
    4. Import the renamed file.
    It is unlikely that you need to recreate system tasks. They are in most cases intact.
