Windows 10: Task Scheduler Error Code

Hi tonight when I go to task scheduler to check did my tasks are working .. I found out that my window defender verification is showing The operator or administrator has refused the request 0x800710E0 so I search online and find out that I need to change the user to administrator and resart and after doing that I rerun that window task but I kinda make mistake here by double clicking that task and click Ok again but I forgot that I have If the task is running Stop the existing instance in the setting...So my task is stopped and showed the error codeOxc000013a......Is it because I stoppe

Task Scheduler Error


When I access Task Scheduler, an error appears that says SqmUpload_S-1-5-21......... no longer exists. To see the current tasks, click Refresh. However, the same message appears when I click Refresh. I can close the message and it appears the Task Scheduler is OK. A person on the Microsoft boards gave me several steps to follow beginning with booting into Safe Mode. However, I received a message when I accessed Task Scheduler that it doesn't function in Safe Mode.
I did not feel safe following their additional suggestions at that point as I am not that adept at such endeavors. Has anyone else encountered this error and/or found a simple solution? I feel it is caused by some remnant leftover from Windows 7 during the upgrade but this is pure conjecture on my behalf.

I suggest you to clear the task from Task Scheduler using the below steps and check if the issue still persists.

Steps:-

• Type Task Scheduler on Search bar.
• Click on Task Scheduler Library.
• Select the particular task and right click on it.
• Select End.

Task Scheduler error

Disclaimer: The steps below includes system registry modification. However, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For added protection,
back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

Make sure to backup registry first, please refer to this support article:
How to back up the registry in Windows. Please follow the steps below:

1. Click on Start > type regedit and press
   Enter.
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Schedule
3. Find the DWORD called start, change its value to 2.
   
4. Save the changes and then exit out of the registry editor. Reboot you PC.
