Windows 10: Task Scheduler wrong trigger time for monthly tasks

Hi,

I would like to inform about problem with Task Scheduler work.

I am working with TS quite active around year, and have ~50 scripts running from minute to once per year resolution.


During this night one of my monthly scripts triggered the day before. I nearly same problem described here:

In my case TS task runs one day before schedule.



Probably this was already reported, but I did not found. If there is any fix update please let me know.

Scheduled task triggered at wrong time

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, we would need some information.

• What is the version and build of you operating system? In the
  Search box, type
  winver to get this info.

I would suggest you to delete the previous task and recreate the task Scheduler and check the run time.

Task Scheduler: task gets triggered by event but does not start

I know a thing or two about the Task Scheduer but so far I am unable to wrap my mind around your problem. Here is why:

• I do not recognise the screen snapshot your posted. What is it?
• What event is supposed to trigger the scheduled task?
• What is the scheduled task supposed to run?
• You write "there is the initial event 108 showing the event getting triggered". How can an event trigger another event?
• Do time-triggered tasks work reliably?

 

Scheduled task triggered at wrong time

I've created a task to trigger every month on the second Wednesday. This month is Sept 2016. The task popped up on the 7th, which is the first Wednesday. The task should have occurred on the 14th.

Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.
