    Taskbar/active window becoming nonresponsive until I ctrl+alt+del


    I'm on windows 10 and for some reason, my computer has recently started becoming unresponsive at random intervals; the active window will become unclickable and only the keyboard will work. Often, for web browsers, it 'jumps' or 'stutters' around to previous web pages or previously-viewed parts of a page when this happens. Other times the window will still work, but the task bar will instead become unresponsive can't click any icons to change windows or open programs/the start menu.The keyboard still works fully in both cases; only clicking is nonresponsive. This remains the case until I ctr

    Ctrl Alt Del, Vista

    On a domain you won't get Task Manager when you hit Ctrl+Alt+Del. You get a crazy screen with a bunch of options.

    Ctrl+Shift+Esc has always brought up just the Task Manager, even back to Windows XP days. You just weren't aware of it. *Wink Taskbar/active window becoming nonresponsive until I ctrl+alt+del ;)

    Go ahead, try it in Windows XP too.

    Ctrl Alt Del, Vista

    The whole Ctrl+Shift+Esc should be used to get that crazy screen with those options and Ctrl+Alt+Del should bring up TM.
