Windows 10: Taskbar and Desktop not working! Need help urgently.

Hey guys, this will be my first thread about an issue that urges me to post on this forums.

This issue has been with me for 2 months, I am unable to do my work and projects due to this burden of my computer. I have followed everything, from step by step tutorials of how to solve this problem to HD video tutorials and still doesn't work.

My taskbar isn't working, cannot open the start menu and virtually anything. I can open my folders app on the taskbar but it will hang eventually. On the desktop, I couldn't launch any apps at all, except for the recycle bin (it will hang eventually too).

I have tried advanced troubleshooting but doesn't work at all. I wouldn't want to remove all my files too (kinda important and I could not move all of them to a hard drive).

I hope someone here is computer expert, and help me with this problem. I am already 'handicapped' and clueless what to do.

Some taskbar icons are not showing:microsoft edge and windows store-windows 10

Same issue is occurring on my desktop as well since 20th November. I am even unable to update user accounts. I also noticed that I had switched off Windows Firewall and now it is not allowing me to turn it on.

The Start button and Edge is working for one of the user accounts and that is a standard account.

It is quite irritating that these features are not working and so is firewall and other features. Even the network picture on taskbar is not working.

Need urgent help.

 

Search menu and Cortana are not working in Windows 10.

Just yesterday my windows 10 dell desktop computer, CORTANA and (Search Box) and the start menu is really lagging and slow. I have tried restarting it as well as the following powershell code.

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

NOTHING IS WORKING.

My Cortana and search will not load. I will click to launch it on the taskbar and it will (hollow) click like nothing is there. Please Help.

Leaves programs installed, preserves most settings, leaves system restore disabled (so enable it and set a scheduled task to set restore points).

Most important, make sure you have adequate backups.

Otherwise, check for program conflicts using a clean boot.

Make sure you select your version of Windows 10, language as well as the bit version.

Once the iso is downloaded, right click at the iso file > click Mount > click Setup.exe
Installation will begin.
It will allow you to keep you files, settings and apps.
No product key is required.
Activation will be automatic.
