Windows 10: Taskbar App always highlighting/ the Notification state can not be switched

Hi,


I start using Win10 recently and notice that the APP on the taskbar will turn into orange (as the picture is shown below) sometimes. I think it should be a notification, but when I click on the icon, there is actually nothing new and the highlighting cannot disappear. I click it several times and it does not work.


The icon just keeps highlighted there, which is really distracting. And not only Chrome, but also other apps will sometimes have the same problem. If I shut down the APP and restart it, the highlighting will disappear, but I cannot always restart an APP and the highlighting is unpredictable.




I yesterday updated the system to the latest version so I don't think it's because of the outdated system.



What's the possible reason for it and how can I solve it?

How can I hide the notification icon on my taskbar

  Type Settings on your search bar
  
• 
  Click on systems
  
• 
  Select notifications and actions
  
• 
  Disable all the notifications on the screen
