Windows 10: TaskBar Behavior

Win 11 OS Build 22000.613.But when will MS finally fix the TaskBar Behavior bug?I have the "Automatically hide the TaskBar" mode set, but from time to time the TaskBar stops hiding. No manipulations in Settings - Personalization - TaskBar help in solving the problem. The only thing that helps is restart Explorer. This disgrace has been going on since Win 10 and the problem has not yet been resolved. Just don't tell me about sfc /scannow and Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth - the integrity of the system files is not broken.

Taskbar hides and shows itself after opening start menu.

Steps:

1. Using HDMI for a second monitor.
2. Open start menu using the icon.
3. Close start menu using the icon.
4. Click anywhere other than the task bars. (e.g. an open window, the desktop, even the first monitor's desktop)
   
5. Taskbar on second monitor slides down to be hidden.
6. Taskbar then immediately slides up to reappear.

If after closing the start menu (step 3), you click on the taskbar, then click outside the taskbar, this behavior does not occur.

Performing the steps on the main monitor's taskbar does not produce this behavior.

This has been happening for as long as I can remember using this laptop (~3years), with different nVidia drivers and Windows 10 updates.

This behavior of your Taskbar is part of the settings set on your computer.



To automatically hide your Taskbar, follow the steps below:

• Right click on the Taskbar.
• Select Taskbar settings.
• Toggle the switch to on for Automatically hide the Taskbar in desktop mode.

Note that it’s not permanently hidden, it’s just hidden if the pointer is away from it.

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.
