Windows 10: Taskbar disappears and settings is unable to open

The right side of the taskbar did not show up, so I was trying out solutions on solving it. Then it resulted with no taskbar, I can't access settings no matter what I even tried the windows key + I, leading me to assume that the important files have been deleted, and I can't restart or shut down have to press the power button itself if I want it off. I can only access Microsoft Edge through the screen page. Please help ASAP

Taskbar Disappears After Copilot is Opened

Whenever I click the Copilot icon in the taskbar, after Copilot opens my taskbar disappears. The easiest way for me to fix that is to go into the Taskbar Settings and into its behavior section and toggle the auto-hide taskbar on and off. I always have auto-hide set to off but after the taskbar disappears, I just toggle this to get it back.



Is anyone else having this issue with the taskbar disappearing after Copilot is opened? Even after I close the Copilot window the taskbar remains hidden.

 

Unable to open Settings

Upon analyzing the issue, we need to check first if the
partition is still available. To do so, follow these steps:

• 
  Open
  Command Prompt
  as
  Administrator.
  
• 
  Type
  these following
  commands:
  
  • 
    Diskpart
    
  • 
    List disk
    
  • 
    Sel disk 0
    
  • 
    List partition
    

Check if the
partition
is still
available. If it is, type
exit
to
leave Diskpart
and
run
these following
commands:

Disk Checker:

To run
Disk Checker, type
chkdsk /f /r and hit
Enter.

SFC Scan:  

To run an
SFC scan, follow these steps:  

• 
  Run
  Command Prompt as Administrator.  
  
• 
  Type
  sfc /scannow
  and hit
  Enter.
  

DISM Tool:  

To run
DISM Tool, follow these steps:

• 
  Run
  Command Prompt as Administrator.  
  
• 
  Type the following command:  
  
  • 
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /scanhealth  
    
  • 
    DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth  
    

NOTE:
This might take a while to finish scanning.
Do not cancel.

If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your manufacturer
for further assistance in resetting your BIOS.

Steps to enable auto-hide Taskbar:

• Right click in the empty space on the Taskbar, click on
  Properties,
• Under Taskbar tab, check mark the Auto-hide the Taskbar option, click on
  Apply and Ok.
