Windows 10: Taskbar Does Not Resize multiple rows of apps in Windows 11

Why the taskbar in Windows 11 does not resize? To clarify, I am not referring to display settings, my point is resizing the taskbar to have multiple rows with the small buttons so that, when working with multiple documents/programs/folders/apps, it is possible to easily navigate between them.To explain further, not only does this change make lot of hard-work adding a huge effort to look for something, but is also making Windows 11 frustrating to be worked with. It is completely unproductive and inefficient from the user point of view and I do hope that other users also share the dissatisfactio

How to enable multiple rows of pinned apps in Windows 11 taskbar

I know this has been asked before, but how can I enable multiple rows of pinned apps in Windows 11 taskbar, and scroll between those rows?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

 

Taskbar will not STAY resized, locked or unlocked

HI Guys,

I have multiple Windows 10 machines and I found that:

1. Taskbar resizes no problem.

2. Taskbar will NOT stay resized. i.e. wanting a 4 row task bars is not persistent.

3. This occur in either LOCKED or UNLOCKED taskbar.

Any idea?

Please follow the below steps and check if it helps:

• Right click on taskbar.
• click on properties.
• uncheck--use small taskbar buttons.
• uncheck--lock the taskbar.
• try to place the mouse pointer and then resize the taskbar.
