Windows 10: Taskbar doesn't optimize anymore when going automatically in tablet mode

Hi,I recently updated my hp spectre x360 to the newest windows 11 24H2. Before the update, when I folded my laptop, it went into tabletmode, changing the look of the taskbar to be more touchfriendly and so on. After the update, the taskbar still looks the same as out of tabletmode. I'm sure it goes into tabletmode because the UI of google chrome changes the bar becomes bigger and there is more space inbetween tabs. I know microsoft edge also should change when going in tablet mode but nothing happens, so I'm sure it's a windows/microsoft problem. I already tried enabling/disabling the "optim

Taskbar blank in tablet mode

Hi,

This issue might be because of the settings on your device, follow the steps below and check the settings:

• Open Settings.
  
• Click System.
  
• On the left side pane, locate and click Tablet Mode.
  
• Turn Off Hide app icon on the taskbar in tablet mode and
• Automatically hide the taskbar in tablet mode. (See screenshot below for reference)

We suggest you to follow the below steps to make the tablet mode permanent:

• Click start and select settings.
• Select settings and then select tablet mode.
• Now you have different options to choose from, please choose settings that suits you.
