Windows 10: Taskbar height

Discus and support Taskbar height in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; The large taskbar is ugly. When in Windows 11 will we be able to have the small one we had in Windows 10. I don't need date and time - just time is... Discussion in 'Windows 10 Gaming' started by DR_CQ, May 3, 2024.

    Taskbar height


    The large taskbar is ugly. When in Windows 11 will we be able to have the small one we had in Windows 10. I don't need date and time - just time is fine. As mentioned elsewhere, removing it was a retrograde step.

    Taskbar height/width on the side

    I'm using small taskbar buttons and that option changes height only if location of taskbar is bottom or top.

    However, thank for answer!

    My taskbar on Windows 10 is now twice the width/height! Grrrr

    Hi, tried to alter height of task bar as suggested above, I got the arrow up which you described but it would not move taskbar in anyway. This doesn't effect function but would like it to be narrower again. Have you any suggestions please. thank you in advance.
    OS is Windows 10.

    Taskbar height change steps too large

    Hello: I have True Launch Bar menus in my taskbar, three rows (mentioning the app only should it be relevant to my problem) See attached Three row .jpg for how much extra space there is below the third row. Now, if I shorten the taskbar one step, I get two rows (see attached Two row.jpg), but enough space below the bottom row to accommodate a third row (one would think). And, the row change has nothing to do with the Notification area icons). I think the two attachments show how crude the taskbar height changes are. Is there any way of changing this? Thanks,
