Windows 10: Taskbar icons disappear and nightlight turns off then back on again when opening Downloads...

Today, I tried to open up Downloads in File Explorer. However, when I opened it, it was stuck on "Working on it" then would stop responding about 10 seconds later. This made me think this was a virus, and I already had this problem a few months ago because of one. I did a full scan with MSERT.exe and it found three trojans, which were, Win32/DefenseEvasion!rfn, Win32/CryptInjector!ml, and MSIL/Dllinject!MSR. I then checked if my problem was fixed, but there was no changes. I'm not sure what to do now so I need your help for solutions. Thanks.Side Note: I tried to close File Explorer with Task

System Icons on taskbar

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

To address your concern, follow the steps below on how to show hidden icons on the taskbar.

• Open Settings, and click on the Personalization
  icon.
• Click on Taskbar on the left side, and click on the
  Select which icons appear on the taskbar link under the Notification area section on the right.
• Turn on Always show all icons in the notification area at the top

I think you just skipped a step - not right clicking on the program name to get to the properties option
