    Does anyone know why items in the taskbar would have a different color background? I looked through the personalization settings and can't see why only one item has a background. I want the be able to change the background color. How do you change the orange background to a different color? Or, How to make the color stand out more?This was a reply to another question, "When a background activity from an app requires attention, the app will flash on the Taskbar to get your attention. In Windows 11, we have updated this design so that it still grabs your attention but with a calming treat

    Changing the notification color of taskbar icon from orange to something else

    I don't actually care if it flashes, I just want to change the orange color to something else.

    And I only care if the taskbar icon turns orange, with a particular app. This "reminder" app just started doing this. It used to be that I would minimize reminders and the taskbar icon for the reminder program wouldn't flash or turn orange.

    Prevent the taskbar icon from flashing when a background app has an event.

    When an app window is in the background and there's some kind of event, the taskbar icon flashes orange a few times. Then it glows steady orange.

    How can I change this so the taskbar icon doesn't flash at all, just glows orange?

    Can this be done without changing the Windows registry?

    how do you get rid of the orage light, not just flashing, but in total, i NEVER want my icon to turn orange in the taskbar.
