  1. Taskbar in Autohide mode - notification area not showing

Hi there,I've the taskbar set up in autohide. It works. The area on the right hand side though, it doesn't show up at all, that is the corner overflow icons, the clock and date... there is nothing there. If I turn the autohide off, the area magically appears again. If I then turn the autohide on again, the area stays on. So it doesn't show up just when I switch my computer on. Is there any fix for this? I don't want to go into settings every time and turn on and off the autohide to have the taskbar working properly. Thanks for any help.

    :)

    Autohide windows notification area

Hello, my computer is always showing all my icons in the notifications area. I had previously set it so it would hide but I think something changed in an update. In gpedit.msc I have enabled "Hide the notification area".

In settings I have turned off "Always show all the icons in the notification area".

  3. Autohide Taskbar in Desktop Mode

    Hi Niel,

In rare cases, you may be having an issue with Autohide Taskbar in desktop mode when you when you just recently did an upgrade on your PC. Autohide Taskbar Option might have got unchecked during the process. We would suggest you try the following steps to enable
Autohide taskbar and check if it makes any difference.

    a. Right-click on the Taskbar.

    b. Click on Properties.

    c. Put a check mark next to ‘Auto-hide’ the taskbar.

    d. Click on Apply and OK.

    Update us with the result.
